Our Story
Have a look at the history of our business.
I grew up in a settlement near Budapest, in a big family, in a house with a big garden, so time spent outdoors was always a part of my life.
In 2016, a good friend of ours was just looking for a gardener when we first took up gardening with my brother.
In Hűvösvölgy, on the Buda side, we started to do the maintenance of a beautiful garden at a wonderful family house, and within a short time we started working at 2 other similar houses in the area.
We kept receiving inquiries for small and large gardening and maintenance work, which we were very happy about, but unfortunately we had to cancel many cases, because at that time we still considered gardening an absolute hobby and it was not up to us to take on more work.
I moved to Toronto, Canada in 2018 and in 2019, when I came back, we were already thinking hard about working full time, starting our own company, gardening, so we did a gardening and gardening training and founded m&m GARDENS.
Every day we work to enchant our customers with wonderful weekdays and weekends in their jointly dreamed-up and built garden.

My love of the garden dates back to my very young age, even then mowing was the game for me.
As an adolescent, I always did and bought in the garden of the parents' house, developed a vegetable, planted a stink from the seed or just saved a western thuja in a glass of sour cream. It’s a defining memory when I immediately headed to nearby gardening with my wheelbarrow with the pocket money I received during my grandmother’s weekend visit.
As a young adult, I was in the trade at a multi, at that time I wasn’t near gardens for a few years, which is why I always had a feeling of lack.
In 2014, the design and construction of the garden of our own house gave me another boost and since then I have been spending my free time among the plants on a daily basis.
In 2016, I had the opportunity to be a gardener at a house in Buda, which was followed by more and more in the following years.
In 2019, I also undertook a large garden construction and from then on the idea came that in addition to the full-time job, what if I only deal with it.
Earlier this year, I attended a gardening and maintenance training, followed by the founding of m&m GARDENS.
